Someday I'll learn to play something smaller - something I can carry in one hand. I play in the Columbus Symphony Orchestra (Columbus, Indiana). I also play in the pit orchestra for area musicals, and play my bass whenever and wherever I can. I love the bass! I'll play classical, popular, contemporary, or jazz music.

I also was an instructor in the music department at Hanover College (Hanover, Indiana), and conducted the College-Community Symphony Orchestra.

Information:

We (the cats and I) have cyberpals in New Zealand, Finland, Canada, and all over the United States.

It's a challenge keeping cat fur out of the keyboard, and peering over the top of a cat to see the monitor. Down in front!

I enjoy music of all types, except country (sorry, country lovers). Usually, I have the stereo, radio, and TV on at the same time. I'm also an avid reader.

And, since I play a double bass with amplification equipment, I drive a TRUCK!

I enjoy spending time with my niece, Emily, who is in college; and my nephew, Adam, who is in college, too. He's as mischievous as I am. My sister is just thankful he's not twins!
